The complete plans will guide you through constructing a complete Planot full range driver.

• The first thing is a complete set of engineering blueprints with dimensions and specifications and fabrication steps.

• Second is a list of all parts and materials and suggested sources for purchasing them.

• You will need to engineer and build your own voice coils and magnets. Plans include suggestions for sources.

These plans are for companies wishing to build prototypes in expectation of obtaining a license for manufacturing Planot speakers.

Advanced hobbyists may also be interested in building their own for experimentation. Serious metal working skills will be required.

There are no wood working skills required as there is no wood used in the construction.

The accompanying limited license will allow you to construct one pair of speakers.

The Planot has no box, no crossover, no diaphragm flexing and no surround or spider. The traditional compromises of loudspeaker design have been eliminated. Just the basics are left. The Planot speaker is the most minimum of machines between the sound and your experience.
